There was a school on the N. corner of one of Salv’s properties. Leonard Tesdall attended there around 1901 while his brother Edward taught there.

Slav and his son Ole were livestock buyers in Huxley.

The 2nd child born to the settlement on August 15, 1855 was Ole the son of Olie (possibly a brother to Soleman) and Anna Heggen.
