Apland.Ragnhild Married Anders Samsonson Fjelland.

They settled on a farm east of Huxley, building a house in 1865 and later an impressive barn in 1875 by Jens Russell from Cambridge. This barn still stands and attracted many people from the 2003 Story county Iowa Barn Foundation tour.  See their web page here.  Their son, Knute who married Tomina Erickson, took over the farm following the death of Ole.  Later Anna, Knute and Tomina’s daughter took over the farm and married Andrew Freeland in 1903.  The farm is now known as the Freeland farm.  Their son Kermit Freeland bought the farm in 1932 with his wife Flora.
